How can educators use writing assessment data to identify effective interventions and instructional targets? This webinar will highlight how curriculum based measures in written expression (CBM-WE) can be used for instructional decision making. Presenters, Katherine Valentine, MA and Adrea Truckenmiller, PhD, NCSP, will provide a brief overview of scoring procedures used in CBM-WE and introduce how a linguistic framework called Levels of Language can be further used to interpret student writing samples in order to identify specific instructional targets and IEP annual goals in writing.
